The 13th. I don't think there are any flights that would arrive from Louisville early enough on the 14th to make the boat so I'd need to fly into Cancun the 13th. The other option is to fly into DFW and fly with you guys but I don't think that airfare has been worked out yet. That would include a shopping trip to scubatoys though

There is cave/cavern diving in Akumal and WW can set that up for you. She set up cavern diving for ScubaHawk and captsteve when we were in Cozumel in January and they both had a blast!

Wow! I heard about this trip from Jerry. If Kamala can credit me from the Dec/Jan Cozy trip, I'm in. I just found airfare from NYC to CUN and CZM to NYC for $393.26. I hope to hear from Kamala as soon as she returns to see if it's doable. If so count me in.

I can't wait to see some of my friends from last years Bonaire trip. Oh to have the patients for Kamala's return, I need to get my feet wet.

Just made my flight reservations, but AA changed their schedule so now I have to overnight in Dallas on the 13th. So I could use a recommendation for a hotel close to the airport. I'll be getting into Dallas late.

Also I'm going to be leaving Cozumel on Sat the 22nd instead of Sun the 23rd. I'll work out the details with Kamala when she returns.

But I got a great airfare $318 RT. It dropped about $80 from what it was at this time just last night!

Ok seeing that several of you need to leave a day early...that is doable as long as we have you matched with a roommate for the same timeframe or at the very least you'll do a single room for one night.

The diving pkg is based upon 6 nights and 5 days and if we change it much the price becomes MORE if we go to a daily diving rate and daily hotel rate etc.. I've priced it out on a daily rate and its much more than in the pkg deal.

Just make sure that Kim knows what you want so she can help keep it all straight! Tell her what you need and we can see how that affects the price but I'd say plan on the pkg being the same regardless of whether you leave the 22nd or the 23rd from the preliminary number crunching.

P.S. anyone needing to overnite in Dallas can stay with me or some others on the trip...we'll just need to figure out how to get all our luggage to the airport! Or we can help with shared hotels in Dallas.

Since we need 2 vans to get us all there...we may be able to have a second group arrive in Cancun for a second shift for those not able to make the 12:30 or so original arrival time.

For those looking to arrive a day early since they can't make the 12:30 arrival in Cancun...what time can you arrive in Cancun? We'll look at having the second van depart a bit later if we can still make the last Ferry from the mainland to the island.

Well, the latest flight out that doesn't cause an overnight layover is 2:07 on my preferred airline and 3:00 on a more expensive flight.

Just to make sure we're on the same page: Arriving on the 14th before or near 12:30 for the ferry TO Holbox and departing at 2? on the 17th after the ferry FROM Holbox.
