First of all – I would like to say a BIG BIG thank you to John for doing all of the arrangement for the wine tasting. I really truly had a blast. Hopefully we can hit that regional festival in June!

Trip Report
The following people showed up at our happy hour site and carpooled from D.C. to Warranton, VA. for the wine tasting.

After a few slight detours (at least that is what they said) and pretty scenery, we ended up at a quaint little restaurant for lunch before heading “a tasting”. I can't remember the name but I highly reccomend it!

We stopped first at Grey Ghost Wineries they really did have some fabulous wines. We ended up tasting about 6 wines and almost everyone picked up a bottle of something. We then headed over to the Unicorn wineries and did another 9 bottle tasting. This place definitely wasn’t as good as the first – but we had fun and according to the guys, our bartender was much cuter!

We then retired back to Mike’s place for more drinks and some friendly games of pool. I think I only won once and Mike and Max so completely dominated the game.. grr.. and I am not bitter about that at all! After that, Mike, Max and I headed out for some VIP treatment at the Leftbank (club down in Georgetown) And while some of you might not believe this – I actually danced with guys this time around! I think I actually went to bed at 6am or so just to get up at 7:45. WHAT A LIFE!

The whole day was fun. I had a blast. Our group is Too bad I skipped the dancing this time. I thought you guys wanted to go to a club in Bethesda. I would not have to think twice going to Georgetown. Well, there is always another time.

Ok, here is what happened .... Greg and I went on the first detour , but then Vanessa went on the second detour with Max and John.
