Well, since it looks like the Bonaire trip isn't going to go this year, and I may have a work conflict (one that means I will have to settle for diving in Okinawa) I am planning on this trip. However, I did just discover that for active duty, we need to get a country clearance - so my check will be in the mail hopefully in the next few days once I get all the paperwork done.

And for any other active duty thinking about this trip, keep this in mind - you will need to submit for a country clearance.

This looks like a place I'd love!!! I'm very interested in going. Hoping to get a somewhat decent airfare from NYC, possibly hoping for WW's help in that!

Yes we should be able to help and I believe we have bulk air fares avail too. Can you fly out of all the local airports or only one of them?

I lived on Okinawa for 3 and a half years, and the diving there is great!

Thanks for the update on the active duty clearances...as for doing Bonaire...yes we are. I've gotten a great deal for a small group to go there as well....if you can do the dates that are published in September!

Unfortunately, I will have to pass on the Cozumel trip based on remaining vacation days. So now I think I will be able to go on the Roatan trip over the Labor Day weekend for my first SD trip.

Can you please quote me airfare from EWR? I got a quote from Sport Diver for $745 on Taca. Can do better? I can fly out of LGA or JFK as well. I'll await flight info before asking to be put on the interested list.
