Not only do we have some great u-boat dives, but we also have the TARPON.... a US sub! Summertime brings in clear water with awsome vis!

The diveable subs in NC are another matter as they are not extremely high risk dives with nearly a full day of boating (ONE WAY) out to the dive sites. Those intrique me somewhat.

Run times are actually 2 to 2.5 hours out and back. -ww

Good, my Bonine won't wear off by the time that I get back into port :birthday: . That was my point. Some of the less diveable wrecks have to be done as a liveaboard in pretty rough waters. Two to three hours in rough water is far easier on the body than six to eight hours and a possible overnight stay with the boat tossing and turning. I like the ability to get into port when the seas hit 6-10 ft.

Steve,

The Tarpon is one that I would like to get out to, but we shall see what time brings.
A person should be judged in this life not by the mistakes that they make nor by the number of them. Rather they are to be judged by their recovery from them.
