If you click on a link and it pops up a box asking for
username and password for "SDTest" at http://www.tollysworld.com
then it's a stale link inserted while we were on the test site. There's probably still hundreds of them I haven't found, yet. Send me the link to the page you were on, and I'll fix it. Just hit <CANCEL>, close the AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED window, and then <copy> and <paste> the link to the page you were on in your address bar when you clicked on the link (not the link itself).
I need to know where you found the dead link, so please grab it while you're on the page with the error! Your address bar will have something like:
http://www.singlediv...?showtopic=8954
The bad link itself will show up like this if you hover over it:
http://www.tollyswor...?showtopic=8620
For a quick fix, copy and paste the dead link into your address bar and replace the www.tollysworld.com/sdtest part with www.singledivers.com and it should work 'till I get it fixed. I've just cleaned up the Calendar through the end of 2006 and several of the trip pages, but I know I didn't find everything.
Getting the 'password required' pop-up? See this!

UPDATE: With the invaluable help of Dan aka Scubatooth , I got all of the old links in the main forums fixed. He pointed, I hit the nail.
Any *new* mis-directing links that get a '404 - not found' error are due to my fat fingers! Just let me know where I hammered the keyboard wrong, and I'll fix it again.
I haven't touched any of the password-protected forums so there's still a bunch of stale links out there, but I'll get the more annoying ones as time permits.
