Went diving locally, vis was pretty bad, hand holding (1-2'vis) down to 55' and 10'vis at 125'...
With that in mind, I just kept snap'n and shoot'n pic on the only stuff down there. With an old Nikonas V, (film), single strobe, close up lens..

As it truned out, I was able to get a few shots that surprised me with all the bad vis.
Just "Shows to go ya", even on bad day, good times CAN be had on diving...
Enjoy, here are the rest of them... Gallery:

Looks like a corallimorph to me.
No single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood.

Thanx all, there are, of course more in the gallery...

-Becky,
Puget Sound, Mukilteo T-docs just north of the terminal. Not a whole lot down there, best area is at about the 40' level, about a 10' ban of stuff, and then at the 15' level during high tides, it looks tropical with the sunlight coming through.

Heheheh.. all, of course, dependant upon the vis.. and right now it sucks.... big time... Summer as you probably forgot, with all that clear vis over in A-luka-luk land, is the down time for diving... except for Macro..

What is it??? Anemone....

My Critter ID is short and sweet.
- If it's stuck to a rock, it's an Anemone
- If it's crawling on the ground, it's a Crab
- If it's swimming in the sea, it's a Fish

Soooo... :thankyou: it's simple,
It's an Anemone... helps keep me grounded.. :teeth:

I don't think so, it's tentacles are in neat rows, that would made it a corallimorph.

Sometimes known as a strawberry or club-tipped anemone? Where's drbill when you need him?
