Hello all!!

I wanted to take a moment to ask all of you who attended the two DFW Happy Hours to give some feedback on how you feel they went. Feedback is very important to us, because if we do not get enough feedback, we don't know whether we're doing a good job or not for the membership.

I am so sorry I have missed the June happy hours......life has been a little nutty lately to say the least!! If these two were anything like the others have been I am positive they were fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!

John,
You have done a great job setting up the HH's. Different parts of the metroplex so everyone could get to one or the other. I look foreward to seeing friends every month. Keep up the good work.

Both Happy Hours were really great! C'mon I drive over 2 hours just to get to them - they must be a lot of fun! It was really good to see that we had 4 brand new Happy Hour participants (even though certain leaders who shall remain nameless were not present)! I missed seeing Christi (Beach Bunny) and Kevin (BigTallHippie) among others, but I really enjoyed myself. I'm looking forward to July's HH; and thinking maybe if I get a room in town I won't have to worry about the ride home. (I soooo wanted to pull over and go to sleep somewhere.)

Dan - pictures???

I wanted to take a moment to ask all of you who attended the two DFW Happy Hours to give some feedback on how you feel they went.

THANK you for arranging, and for picking sites around the metroplex.

We were equally distant from both venues, but I think the effort to get there was worth it!!

Both bars offered plenty of room, good service, food and entertainment - I think those are good compared to other events I've attended where we really didn't have much room, or options.

There are a lot more folks in DFW area on the board than attend, but everyone has their life and their priorities. I am blessed in that I bring my own friend and romantic possibility with me, but I think it might be more interesting if we invited selected outside professional groups to help spread the word on our organization - maybe alternating months:

Fort Worth Firefighters union
DFW area association of Pole Ballet artistes
The Burn taxi squad

And a special charity event - a consolation happy hour for the rejects from the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader tryouts :banghead:

I had a great time at the HH this past Saturday.. I will say it was great seeing some old friends and meeting some people I've never met before. I know I've been a bit distant from the group for a while, but had a lot of personal issues which kept me at bay so to speak, but I'm also happy to say things are getting better.

Definately keep up the good work on the Happy Hours and I'll do my best to attend when I can.

I had planned to attend this happy hour...but I ended up at the neighbor's house for a big cookout

so, 30 miles one way vs across the street...across the street won out

not to mention the ice cold Shiner Bock!

I usually make the happy hours but this was one I just couldn't do for various reasons

Vessper!!! Good to "see" you online again - but as for going to the happy hours? not fair for those of us who don't live in the DFW area! :welcome:
