You all are killing me here....I was born and raised in Milwaukee WI. Mixing **anything** in a beer????
Sacrilege!

Well, I am a native Texan (even though I lived outside the state more than in once I got of age to leave!) and we take our beer pretty seriously down here, too. I can only excuse my mom's beer and cokes on the grounds that she was born just over the border in Hugo, OK.
Back after a long absence - whew, too busy at work!

There's *supposed* to be a module that goes along with this, to make it easy to use. George installed it a couple of weeks ago, but I think he was waiting for approval from the Admins & Mods before turning it on.

Hang tight and I'll ask what's up with the module. I saw it in the Admin Control Panel... but it's still off.

With Roatan looming close, one of my favorite drinks is a bar specialty at Anthony's Key Resort called the Monkey La-La:

Blend together until smooth & frothy:
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Kahlua
4 oz Half-and-half
1 scoop Ice-cream
2 oz Cream of coconut

And with Holbox even closer, one great reason for a trip to Mexico is so I can return home with a litre of D'Aristi Crema de Xtabentun (not imported or else very hard to find in the USA), which I particularly enjoy over rocks in a hurricane glass, shaken.

Well I like to tip the glass now and then :lmao: I found that the Rum Punch in Grenada to be one of a kind :hiya: . the Rum made there is so strong it cant be loaded on planes because they consider it an explosive :lmao:

My best guess on how they mix it is..

85% Grenadian Rum
15% Filler
:)

After a recent bad night of Captain Morgan and Diet Cokes (9 of them), I have sworn off all hard liquor and mixed drinks and will be drinking only beer from now on (Stella Artois). However, the best Pina Colada I ever had goes something like this:

Crushed Ice, Half & Half, Sugar, Bacardi Dark Rum and Haagen Daz Pineapple Coconut Ice Cream (yup, ice cream). No measurements, it's all to personal taste. Put it all in a blender and enjoy.
OH WHATEVER!!

After a long cold PNW night dive.

A thermos of warm Dr. Pepper and peppermint schnapps is a great body warmer. It sounds bad but tastes great.

Or if there is a person you are trying to get to know. There is the new twist on the old shot.

One shot of your preferred liquor (Bourbon, Tequila, Whiskey) Wet the side of the neck of the other person, an area of a quarter. rub a small amount of salt on the neck. Place a slice of lime or lemon between the lips of that person.

Now take your shot, lick the salt and have a bite of lime. Its bound to show interest.

Take it from an old bartender :o

My current fave, given that it's the lazy days of summer: doesn't have a name yet because I just cooked it up.

Trader Joe's has an absolutely awesome blood orange soda. Mix equal parts blood orange soda, vodka, and club soda with a squeeze of lime, over ice. Amazingly refreshing, and good for you, too! OK, that last part was a lie.....

Haven't done that yet, but have played a twist on "hot potato" : pass an ice cube around mouth to mouth until it melts completely. Person whose mouth it melted in then has to give person who passed it to them a body shot. Lots of fun when you start mixing up the boy/girl order. :cheerleader: Oh great, now I've gotten away from favorite drinks to drinking games! Well, anyone else wanna share? :D
