Ok, what's an Irish Car Bomb?

Yeah, what is an Irish Car Bomb?? Sounds interesting.

My favourite at the moment is a Turkey Soup.

1 shot of Wild Turkey Bourbon
1 Shot of Wild Turkey Honey Liquour

Very smooth.

Failing that a shot of Drambuie chased with Bundy Rum and Coke

After a long cold PNW night dive.

A thermos of warm Dr. Pepper and peppermint schnapps is a great body warmer. It sounds bad but tastes great.

Or if there is a person you are trying to get to know. There is the new twist on the old shot.

One shot of your preferred liquor (Bourbon, Tequila, Whiskey) Wet the side of the neck of the other person, an area of a quarter. rub a small amount of salt on the neck. Place a slice of lime or lemon between the lips of that person.

Now take your shot, lick the salt and have a bite of lime. Its bound to show interest.

Intersting i have inadvertingly had that. One night last christmas while tar bending some one spiked my DP that that i had under the bar as that night i needed all the caffine i could get as business was non-stop. I dont know who did it but it was pretty good (i dont condone drinking behind the bar because for the most part will cause you to get in major trouble, this was a accident). One combo that doesnt work with DP is rum and DP as that combo is horrible and a waste of good rum.

hmm yeah that would cause some interest, so whose interested in a body shot? any volunteers?

One of my favorites is in a tall glass mix 1 lg can of Red Bull and a double or single shot (your choice)of Sky vodka and a lime wedge... definately a refreshing drink, but too many of them and they'll be picking you up off the floor..

I used to really enjoy Flamming Dr. Peppers, It's half a mug of beer, and a shot glass of ameretto with a little 151 on top. You light it, drop it and chug it. Nowadays I usually go with Black Seal rum and coke, or apple vodka and cranberry juice. My shot now is a Rocky Mountain.

How about a "Brave Bull". Rock glass, on ice. 1/2 Tequila, 1/2 Kahlua. Benefits are: well, lets just say it puts you in a party mood with prolonging benefits.

Don't know if all of you Dallas residents remember The Filling Station on Greenville Ave. It closed a few years ago, and somehow I came into possession of their signature drink "The Tune-up". If ya'll want the recipe, I'll try to post it ASAP. One note of caution: One will get you drunk, Two will put you down!

The infamous "Tune-Up" from The Filling Station:

Equal parts: Gin, Vodka, and Sweet and Sour

Add: Blue Curacao & Pineapple juice

Take a slice of lemon, roll it in sugar and place on top.

Gently top with a little Everclear.

Light up carefully! Also, don't forget to extinguish flame before drinking!!

One more note: Use a designated driver if you decide to drink this concoction!

OK, got a few more for the upcoming holidays:

My favorite for cold winter nights - Hot Buttered Rum

1 stick softened butter
6 Tbl packed brown sugar
1/4 cup of real molasses
rum - your choice dark or light
Boiling water
whipped cream (optional)

Mash butter, sugar and molasses together until mixed.
Put 1 1/2 to 2 rounded Tbl of mixture into a mug.
Add 1 oz. of rum
Fill with boiling water.
Stir until mixed, add whipped cream if desired.

Big word of caution here- you will be surprised how drunk you can get off of this! It usually just puts me to sleep, so I guess it's good for insomnia!

1 1/4 oz Myer's Dark Rum
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz passionfruit juice (or orange juice, but passionfruit is better!)
1/4 oz lime juice
1/4 oz lemon juice
1tsp sugar
Dash of grenadine

PP be careful what you wish for you might just get it, as i have been called to mix up some drinks when you attend a SD event or trip as i was in North Carolina this year making ritas.

as for the liquid cocaine ill pass as i prefer not to get hammered by multi liquor drinks. speaking of reciepes i know there are several variations on LC but which version where you thinking of.

its something like 106 proof a few too many of those and boy o boy you will doing the freshman prayer but one or two will put you right were you need to be to show off you r talent to the senoritas at the bar!

ok thats what i was thinking you where talking about for the reciepe.

as for showing off i prefer that i be a little more sober when doing some of the bar tricks. IE not a good idea to be buzzed or worse when juggling multiple bottles for show (Belvidere, Grey Goose, and ZYR) to make three different martinis for customers asa those are not light or cheap bottles. Great for showing off but you better have your game on.

Off course the ultimate showing off behind the bar is done by a pair of brothers from las vegas who are the masters of bar flair.
