If anyone wants to keep tabs on the conditions on the gulf during the last few days before we go out, the following links will provide that info. It is from a NOAA weather buoy set up in the gulf 70 miles south of Freeport and about 20 miles from the Flower Gardens.

* Current Flower Gardens Weather Conditions

Looking forward to it!

WW
I just wanted to remind you that I'm bringing my regular SD trip stuff on the FG trip.

3 blow-up sharks from Walmart
1 10ft x 10ft expandable Disco floor with DJ and wet bar.
3 large rolling duffel's with all the stuff I don't use but feel more comfortable having with me.
The All in One gas grill that converts into a air compressor, UW ROV, washer and dryer or deco camber.
I did condense my Save a Dive kit down so it fits onto a pallet that's 4ft x4ft and 6ft tall.

or I might just bring my dive gear that I'm gona use and a med size backpack with my personal stuff in it?

and my own AL80 tank.

Sounds reasonable to me. :birthday:

The weather sucks here right now, hope it's better offshore.

I checked the wave heights and they are reasonable. I'm hoping for some good weather. It's been pretty crappy in Houston all weekend. :birthday: We'll know by noon what the status is. Let's pray it's a go and nicer in the gulf.

Unfortunately, I picked up a stomach flu over the holiday weekend. I am going to wait till about 6 pm or so to decide whether or not to bail on this trip, but truthfully, I can't see my stomach getting any better today. I learned a long time ago to not go out on a boat when already not feeling good. Dont' know how to get hold of WW to tell her, however, but will leave a message at Gulf Diving around 6 pm to let her know my decision.

So sorry if I have to miss everyone, but I'll take very good care of myself to make absolutely sure I make Holbox/Coz next week.

If it was a hangover, it is one heck of long one, as the last thing alcoholic I drank was Sunday. No, I really think I caught something from the little kids I was around over the holiday. Two of them were not doing good when I was around.

Oh well, as long as I can make Holbox/Coz, I'm cool.

Have a great trip, all!

I wanted to let everyone know that I got my strobe fixed. There was actually a problem with the wiring in the housing. Thanks everyone for trying to help me with it. :D
