Two thurs ago we did a night dive in the Brockville Narrows. Water was 74˚F/23˚C max depth was 51M/168ft. Current was strong but fun as one just went with it. about 15 minutes into the dive a small school of juvenile sturgeon decided to join us! there were about 7 of them. some were not shy at all!! One got real up close and personal with Steve. looked like he was lying on Steve as they floated along, with their faces inches away from one another. They swam with us for a few minutes then we had to head right to meet up with wall and slowly begin to multi level up. Hit about 50 minutes of deco, did the two deep stops while comin up the wall. Went over bits of an old schooner wreck that is fairly intact at a shallower level. Huge boulders and lots of fish around. Switched over to deco mix at 10m/30 ft of 83%02 and slowly floated along wall on my back looking up at the over hanging trees. But the highlight was the sturgeon. Find some old bottles along the way on this dive but not this particular time.
