Openings within my company were posted while I was in Cozy in January. I hit the ground running on the day I returned--getting my resume submitted, job shadowing, mock interviews, real interviews, etc.

Currently I work in health claims but my job in Florida is ending later this year. Since I have no desire to relocate to cold climates, or to give up my seniority within the company, I decided to change careers. I have worked in the same department and I have not interviewed in over 15 years so this was a major thing for me.

It was officially announced yesterday that I accepted one of the openings for property & casualty claims! Woo hoo!! Future employment means future dive trips!

Kerry

Great news, congrats! Funny, when I was working in Florida, I couldn't wait to get back to Seattle, too hot!
