this makes me wish I had more VC!

I thought the VC were all but eliminated after Tet in '68.

Another dive trip...of course I have to sign up...Count me in on this one, Kamala. I may have to miss the first 2 days if I can't find someone to work for me.

Jimmy aka The ToyMan has set this trip up. He is in Figi right now and won't be back for another week. We'll have the dive operator info then for you.

The primary purpose of the trip is to help with the toys...but of course we can't deliver toys the entire time so will have to do some diving and other cool things in Costa Rica.

This is not a high end trip but Jimmy has made it many times and guarantees we'll have a great time. Currently SD is allocated 10 people and Jimmy has 10 people.

If we need each other's spots we'll have some play until they are full; 20 people is the limit!

Anyone else want to join us???

:dltears: :dltears: One of my partner at work will be on vacation that week so I need to cover his vacation and won't be able to make this trip. Perhaps next year.

The 50% deposit deadline for this trip is Sept 1. Currently we only have the organizers planning to attend.

Should we plan this trip for next year instead?

It looks like this destination will have to be put on hold. :dltears: The first question that arises, what shall we do with the monies collected for charity??

Did I miss the update on the dive operator? Don't know if that affects anyone's decision but mine....

Alas, maybe it's a good trip for next year - the water around Costa Rica is warmest Mid-May through late in the year!

It looks like this destination will have to be put on hold. :dltears: The first question that arises, what shall we do with the monies collected for charity??

The toys will still be delivered by the Toys for the Children organization. All monies collected for the organization will go for the cause regardless of our participation in helping to deliver the toys or not. However I do still want to do a trip centered around delivering the toys!
