Poor Little Sandy,

How could you get into so much trouble.....being so shy and demure.

I am glad that everyone had such a good time. Sounds like a great trip...I am sorry that I missed this one.

I thought I had seen her on StalkingDivers.com before :teeth:

I must admit that plane ride from Fiji to LAX was a nightmare when I was on it.
leaving fiji at 10:00 pm and flying for 10 hours then arriving in LAX at 2:30 pm the same day was a Little Weird.

The flight from Fiji to LAx wasn't bad at all... you basically sleep through most of it. The problem now is major jet lag. Bleh

It was a great trip...............the Fijian culture is awesome.

The coral is exactly as you see it in the dive mags - the night dive we did at Feather Star was fabulous!! I have never seen such colors in corals - purples, pinks, reds, white and purple - amazing. The manta dive was great! They were huge!!! The DM would point out in to the deep blue and soon a big one would come out of no where - It amazed me how they could spot them in the dark! LOTS of Nemos - which was a great high light for me!! Sharks were often seen lurking around watching us. :teeth: The beaches were beautiful - lots of shells to pick up too! (I had to have a shell sale on Friday night before we left) :(

The staff at the resort was great - they do not work for tips - and were so nice and helpful - I had some difficulty with the food but like Jeff - I never left hungry. The cook staff was very good about working with you. I am not sure they had seen a group that could eat so much bread and jalepenos! ;)

There was constant laughter on this trip...............granted some at my own expense...................... :D Let's see...............I took a header out of the dive boat when we had stopped off at a beach for mid morning tea...........dry bag and all..........bad enough the people on my boat witnessed it - but so did the other dive boat!!! Then there was the "there is too much weight in the back of the boat" issue!!!!! (haven't I heard this before??) Ever seen a starfish stomp??? Some have!!! :) The last major entertainment event I provided was popping my left hip out of socket while attempting to "boogie" with the village school children. Many thanks to Gar and Scott for attempting to carry me perched on their arms through the village back to the resort. This mission was ended due to extreme laughter at my positioning while wearing a sulo (sarong) Scott - I hope you have feeling back in your hand by now...........and I am really glad we had stopped diving by that point of the trip. :) I now walk like a penguin - I hope the issue goes away soon!

As for the quotes.............there were so many great ones................Several will remain in my life (and BUG's) for a long time! "SONNY..................."
Don't look her in the eyes - you'll turn to stone!!!!
What's wrong with going on the shark dive???

The people were great - I really enjoyed the people on this trip. Many thanks to Larry for all the laughs...............FOCUS!!! Jeff - YOU ARE A LUCKY MAN!!!! :) (and it really was ME looking in your bathroom) Liz- DID YOU GET HOME WITH THEM??? (you might should check again) :) BUG - you took my teasing well. You are a great friend. (Sonny - you are a GOOD man) :) Ali - your laughter brings a smile to my face -

I made new friends on this trip and reunited with the old ones - I really enjoy the SD trips - I am now booked for the T & C trip the end of April!!!

Can't wait to see the pictures!!!

Sandy seems to me that you forgot to mention the sucker fish on your leg... I laughed alot at your expense on that one...
Roatan!!!! Roatan!!!! Roatan!!!! I'm going to ROATAN!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!

Dear me - how did I forget the sucker fish incident????

We had all just jumped in and were at about 40' or so - and I look up and my dear friend Ari (Vettenorlando) was right in front of me "crotch level" if you will with his video camera - and just stayed there "focused" - everyone was all around me - including my buddy - and I just couldn't figure out what the attraction was............I finally saw the tail of a sucker fish that had become fond of my bottom and thighs and squealed underwater - I thought Ali was going to choke from laughter.............................yes - another chapter of "all inclusive" ;) I have seen the video - and understand now why Ari was so "focused" It was funny to watch! :teeth:

The problem now is major jet lag. Bleh

No kidding, Dan. I swear I set my alarm yesterday morning but must have turned it off and went back to sleep. Woke up a few hours later and dragged my butt into work.

I think my co-worker summed it up best when he told me, "You look like hell. It must have been a great trip."

He was right on both accounts! :teeth:

This one's for Kerry - 'And what fertilizer was he using?' ;)  :D  :)

:) Thanks, Terri (and Gar)....I started laughing all over again when I read that! Thanks for the many giggles over the coconut wireless at dinner time.

And thanks also to my wonderful roomies: Ali, Liz and Bridgette. You ladies are the best!

Thank you to Sandy for providing a constant source of amusement for all of us. (And thanks to Dan for encouraging Sandy to leave some of the shells for those of us who don't have the patience to find the really pretty ones.)

Thank you to the many who bruised, stepped on or otherwise maimed me on the boat...the rum and cokes made it all worth while!

And the biggest thanks goes to my best dive buddy, Mark. I have never had such a good time flooding my mask. :)

Kerry

WONDERFUL TRIP< PEOPLE< DIVING< AND ALMOST TOO MUCH FUN :)
The people of Figi were the best of any dive trip I have been on, the resort, was like some one carved a place for us out of the Jungle right on the beach. The Extra trips, Mece dance, School and Figi Local village church, is some thing I will never Forget, Esp. Sandy's Dancing Story, you would have to see it in person, and the Kava,,, Long plane rides, not that bad, Little Pupple jumpers, So it dropped a few hundred feet at a time. The shark dive and story before it. The MANTA DIVES< so frigging big,,,,,,,,, and I do mean Big and gracefull..., the dive sites, the cameras can not do them justuse with so many colorfull fish and reefs, The Lodge so relaxing and laid back, Almost left my clothes and diving gear, and came back and got tools an parts and went back to dive and work on locals motors.. Still working on it in a few months :D
THE VERY BEST DIVE MASTERS I HAVE EVER BEEN WITH, in and out of the water. The people of Single Divers :) also helped make one of the best trips. Great to meet all the people I had not meet and see friends I have dived with before., Thanks to all for the memorys :dltears: The Dives, Meal Times, The beach bar, Fireworks for Halloween, the Costumes of some of the SD PEOPLE one esp, a sight to never forget.. The photo contest.. Great pictures , by everyone..I guess Mandy has over 2,000 pictures on her Laptop,I took over 400 my self and about 15 clips of Video, most under water.
Only bad thing about this trip was having to come HOME, and the damn jet lag. Esp, when you were One day and 19 hours or so, out of your time zone, still have not been able to get to go to sleep till about 2:30 am, since I got back,.
Pictures to come when I can get them off the lap top and on the home Comp. with Hight speed..

It was the best and most beautiful on land and under water, trips I have every taken :)

Mandy you can delete those Pictures of mine that are whats are those???? and post any you want too also.... I will try to post some by this weekend..

:teeth: ;)
