I go to Charleston every year, but I already have my Charleston trip planned this year for June 1st-5th. So unless my boss is willing to give me more vacation days then I'll have to pass. Maybe next year.

yeah, yeah...excuses, excuses!

That goes for you too WG

Well you wanna talk to my boss for me? Whenver you decide to come down to FL....
So I'm guessing youre going on the Cooper River dive then? Huh?

Well gang its official! I have gotten pricing for this trip and secured the following dates:

Dates are Aug 25th, 26th & 27th. The optional day of diving would be the 28th for those interested. We need at least 4 people to do the optional day.

I will have the details posted shortly! :P

That is great news! As long as you change your mind in favor of diving with us...you can change your mind ALL you like!

So full details will be posted soon so you all can start signing up for this trip. The spots will be limited and I think it will sell out fast.

Our boat guide and operator is going to do a series of educational posts on HOW to find the teeth as well as techniques for finding them more easily! This will be a super advantage over the usual 'try and experiment' technique we usually all use...stay tuned!

I would be very interested in going on this trip this year and in future years. I will not be able to do the additional day however... I do not have lights though, can anyone recommend a good yet inexpensive set of lights to get?

Our dive operator...Off the Wall Diving will be putting together a great Cooper River Survival kit for us! He is sending that info to me today! It will have all the stuff you need to find LOTS of Teeth in it!!! And that includes some awesome light options! It will have a great light option with a power upgrade option so you can see normally or you can see the entire lake bottom. Well perhaps that is a bit of an exageration...it just seemed that much brighter to me when I dove the two different lights. Lights are not cheap but they will last extremely long especially if you get the rechargeable battery options. More coming on this soon...also the full details on this trip will be posted today! As soon as they are...please post if you are officially joining us in that thread and we'll get you signed up! And welcome....please post an intro so we can get to know you better HERE!
