Kamala~ Whats the chance of me using my refund from last year towards this year trip.?
I never got the refund from you last year. Since I ended up being a bubble watcher and not a diver.

I would like to dive with old friends again.

Sorry can't pm you.

GG - I would ask that question of Rick. Kamala just collected checks and paid Bandito. I don't know if Bandito gives refunds/credits when a diver checks themselves out of the dives after they are onboard.

Would enjoy seeing you again, so give Rick a call!! :cool1:

I forwarded your post to WW via email since she is on and offline right now for her to follow-up with you. I wasn't aware of that part of Rick's refund policy - I will definitely pass that along to a few of my divers who could benefit from this policy for some past dives.

Please send me an email if I can be of more help. You've got my addy.

Kamala's probably more off than on. I didn't really expect them to have GSM coverage out in T&C other than near the main islands. With the non-existant coverage at her house, I couldn't fire the data link up to show her how it worked before she left <fingers crossed>. It'll work in Provo, but she may not have a lot of time for email on the way back 'till they get home.

BTW, I checked back in my older divelogs and it looks like the water temps in Tacoma aren't much different than the San Diego dives I did last February. My normal wooly bear oughta handle it fine. :birthday:

Hmm.... Me thinks there's something mis-understood here... I've never seen any boat trip offer a refund just because a diver decided to not dive... and will certainly be surprised if he does. It's kinda like you paying for a spot on the boat, but then don't show up... there isn't a refund for that.. heheh.. unless they're feeling very generous etc..

So please post what the rely was...
I'm thinking that there isn't/wasn't a refund. A spot was purchase on the boat, he did his part by showing up and taking you out. The boat goes or doesn't go depending upon paid customers... so keep us posted eh?? :birthday:

TACOMA DIVE SHOP INFO - for out-of-town divers. I suggest making your tank/weights/gear rental reservations now!

Underwater Sports (this shop has hours listed and they are open on Sundays 9am-6pm)
Lighthouse Diving Center (this shop has hours listed and they are open on Sundays 10am-5pm)
Tacoma Scuba (Tacoma's newest dive shop, but I couldn't find the listed hours)

I am sorry I won't be able to attend this year. I look forward to meeting many of you at the treasure hunt in 2007 (or maybe sooner). Colleen and Nicolle, please say hi to Rick from Bandito for me and especially to Frank if he is the DM on the boat that day.
