This was a seriously fun trip and I can't remember laughing so much. Ya' all (see I'm Texan now) are way too quick witted. After much concern about diving with people I didn't know and worring about newbie divers, I am so happy to have met everyone--each being a pro diver and a comedian.

The delay in Providenciales kept me from making my connection to San Francisco but after begging got the AA attendant to route me through Vegas, getting me home around 2:00 a.m. I'm guessing Nancy spent the night in Miami but I lost her during the mad dash through the airport. I should have trained more with Steve. the marathon divermaster, for the run throughout Miami airport.

My new theme song, "Move it, move it..." As much as I wish I were back on the boat having fun, I'll enjoy singing the new SD song tomorrow at work.

Miss you all and can't wait to dive with you again soon.

It is Grand to be back...though I have to go to WORK tomorrow...and I keep thinking about what we were doing a week ago

and did anyone know that we spent a week in the Bermuda Triangle?? It seems that Turks and Caicos is the only country fully within the Bermuda Triangle

What a wonderful week...I just wish I could turn the clock back 7 days :diver:

Hey everybody..me and me had a wonderful time :D ...great diving, great people and tons of laughter..
I can hardly wait for the next trip :D

Now that I am back, as Benevolent ruler #1, I would like to command that we do turn back the clock for 7 days and do it again ..because the reality of returning home and going back to work really isnt as "grand" as being on the boat.....

Dave hang in there with the luggage, mine too decided to take a little vacation on its own, but has now returned..Our flight out was delayed a couple of hours in Turks, and we were sure we would miss the connecting flight to Dallas, we got into Miami at 5:20 , got luggage and through customs in time to board the 6:14 flight..A true miracle..but the luggage made the next flight..All I can say as we were running through the airport is we really did MOVE IT MOVE IT!!!

On the flight to Miami it was Cindy , Karl and myself in one row and Carla behind us ..again we had all made our own reservations and seat assignments way in advance but all rode back together..great minds think alike :cool1:

I will be looking forward to seeing all the pictures..esp the manta and my picture with it !!!! Too bad I was counting the all the grains of sand as it swam over my head :cool2:

:D Another great trip! I can't remember the last time I laughed so much. When people ask me tomorrow what we did it will be something like this....laugh, dive, laugh and dive at the same time, laugh, dive....

I can't believe I acutally have to dress for work tomorrow.......Do I LOOK disgusted!!!

Can't wait to dive with you all again!

Dave, hope the luggage showed....if not ask to see if it is vacationing in Cancun. Seems to be a favorite spot for SD luggage.

Carla you are JUST TOO FUNNY...and yes your luggage did have a great time in Cancun...wondering if they will route Dave's via Cancun from Miami????

I have never laughed so hard in all my life....just when I think a trip can't have more laughter...we seem to create more of it! The poor boat never knew what hit them...you all were non-stop!!! :cool1:

All I can say as we were running through the airport is we really did MOVE IT MOVE IT!!!

Oh the price we pay for all the rich, decadent chocolate that Carla brought!!!

On the flight to Miami it was Cindy , Karl and myself in one row and Carla behind us ..again we had all made our own reservations and seat assignments way in advance but all rode back together..great minds think alike :cool1:

This is what happened to us on the flight in...it was eerie...we were all in the same row/s of the plane...all together and we were the only SDer's on the flight. What are the odds? And then to do it again on the return?...talk about GREAT KARMA!!! :lmao:

I will be looking forward to seeing all the pictures..esp the manta and my picture with it !!!! Too bad I was counting the all the grains of sand as it swam over my head :cool2:

Hee! Hee! The first time you missed the Spanish Anchor the same way...so I guess that means you'll see the manta the NEXT time!!!! :lmao:

Made It, Made It, Made It

Cindy was right, I opted for the overnight stay in MIA and the first flight out Sunday morning - it gave me a chance to read those 2 books I'd carried all the way to T&C.

I had to use Dave's line when they wouldn't recheck my luggage after customs because they wouldn't have the luggage for 30 minutes before the flight departed, could have saved ourselves the dash.

Regardless, it was a great trip with lots of diving and even more laughter. And I believe the Bermuda triangle probably explains my strange disappearance that one day, but I'll keep the dr appt tomorrow anyway

Looking forward to another trip - thanks everyone for a great week

Sorry posting from the Treo and it somehow sent twice. It's probably because everything keeps swaying.

I like to move it move it.............I like to move it move it...............I like to move it move it! I like to................MOVE IT!!!!

WHO knew it was a real song - not just a song from Madagascar! :cheerleader:

Lots and lots of laughter on this trip................... As Mike said - there were some great lines on this trip...............from "do I look disgusted" - "smile and wave boys just smile and wave" - "blend - blend - blend" to "was that supposed to be the signal for a turtle???" I think Dave's line of "do I LOOK disgusted?" wins 1st place though!! :cheerleader:

It was nice to meet new people and spend time with those friends made from prior trips. All in all I think a good time was had by all. I could have used less current and warmer water...........but I still had a great time. Friendships made on these trips continue to blossom even after the last hug of the trip and that's what keeps both Dan and I coming back for more. The people I have met on SD trips are great - funny and down to earth people who love to dive - I love that part!!!!

Shark Bait (aka Scott) you were a great leader for the Sharkettes - getting us all back to the boat - marathon swim and all!!! BUG - we were worried about you when you were sick that day - I only poked you with a snorkel twice - promise!

I am not sure if the boat crew has recovered yet from us all diving 4-5 times a day - I can still picture the look on our faces when Van said "most folks only dive 2-3 dives a day" WHAT????

It was a fun trip - hope to see you all again on a trip soon!!!!

All,

Had a great time. I must say that I cannot seem to get that Move It... Move It... song out of my head...

Dave, Hope your bags show up soon.

I'm back on the road for work... so the cleaning of my gear will have to wait until next weekend... ugh.

I miss the shark-bites!!!

No worries...I saw you doing the 'bag trick' so I know your regs will be fine! The rest can wait! I'd wait on mine too except I leave for Seattle to do the NW Treasure Hunt and dive the beautiful but chilly waters of the Pacific NorthWest! So yes I gotta get the gear cleaned up and ready to go again! :thankyou:

A big Thanks to all who made the trip and another to GentDiver for taking the lead on navigation. :cool1:
The diving was great and the company even better..even if it did get quiet when someone was eating.. :usflag:
It seemed to go by so quickly as most do, but the memories will last forever.
Hope we can all do it again soon...
