Welcome to the newly organized Safety Stop Forum – the forum you shouldn’t miss!!

This forum is the stop for those who: are looking at getting more information before certification; have newly discovered scuba; are currently in core training courses; or are just in search of straightforward scuba info!

Although just about any scuba topic can be inherently related to any other scuba topic, the focus of this forum will be to offer clear-cut, on-track topics, information, and discussion. Posts introducing new or intricate topics will be used as springboards to start new threads. The assembly of these new threads will result in an extremely rich library of subjects. As the library grows, our community will benefit from having this resource.

An interesting feature of this sport is that often there is no one right answer to any one question, which makes discussing scuba so educational. The SD community also represents an extremely broad range of divers and diving interests. So to avoid polarizing members of our community, repetitive dogmatic responses or persistent antagonism will be discouraged.

It’s safe to surface now!!
