I'm sending this from the Beach Bar... Salva Vida beer in hand.
I thought I liked it *HOT!*, but this week has sapped even me. Heat, humidity, water temps around 84F, I was WAY overdressed for the first dive 'till I removed half of my suit. Wait, that sounds bad.... the SHORTIE, I meant. Hmmm. Still sounds bad. Moving on, the reefs are in good shape, lotsa corals, sponges, and fish from big grouper on down. I didn't hit the shark dive, so I didn't see anything bigger. Average vis was around 60-70 feet. Clouds of fish on some of the dives so thick that you couldn't see the person next to you. The macro was really nice, with a handful of seahorses for each of the 5 or 6 boats depending on luck. Internet was kinda spotty with only one working PC and >120 vacationers vying for time 'till I brought a couple more online in the last two days. Busy days for most folks thus the missing reports. You ought to see everyone else check in Real Soon Now.
Pirating the 'pirate boat' was priceless. They didn't notice the missing 4' flag 'till they hit dock... and the 'Pirates and Wenches' party last night was a big hit.
I blew out an upper sinus with a reverse block on Tuesday, so I've been dry since then trying to get healed for Belize. DOH!

Started posting a few pictures here, having some problems, but will continue to update once I get help from admin. Lots more pics to come of the marine life, the infamous boarding of the "Little Dan" and festivities. Stan, do I really have to upload pics one at a time?.......

Yep, sorry. There's no handy way for anyone but the admins to bulk-upload. Dunno why the software is built like that, but the bulk upload function is only in the Admin control panel.Started posting a few pictures here, having some problems, but will continue to update once I get help from admin. A great week, great divemaster on our boat (Marc), some amazing pirates and wenches in the group, wanted to say that I had a fabulous time meeting everyone (yes... everyone!), can't wait to do it again.

Pictures courtesy of Stingray1 aka Phyliss This guy was FINALLY dinner on Friday our last night! Yum! Yum!
Some of the folks had some very wild encounters indeed... But at least they were VERY HAPPY having them!
This shot was amazing and even more so to see in the water...
And this little guy was the highlight of the trip for many divers! Great shots Phyliss!
