This trip has definitely left me with some good memories, and who knows, maybe a bit more.

Now THAT is an understatement! :cool2:

And the 'quiet' shy guy from Texas TRULY came out of his shell for this event. He is quite the romantic and this trip proved it. Not everything is as simple at it might appear.

And speaking of 'understatements'... :cool2:

...We came up with a new and very unique way to sling..umm.. pass out the infamous SD.COM trip t-shirts.... Karen

Wow I almost forgot about that!

Who knew you could sling five T-shirts in a bra at one time, and still have room for a pony bottle.

I don't remember whose it was, but, it definitely wasn't one of those bras that fits if you accidentally put it on backwards.

Our original plan was to throw them out the window and yell "pfffttt!!!" like at baseball games...then we came up with the "t-slinger" idea instead :lmao: I admit that idea may have been wine induced, though

seriously, this was a incredible trip! We did make it offshore on Friday for the Schurz and U-352...Saturday we dove inshore due to weather conditions on the Indra and the Hutton/Papoose; Sunday we never got past the dive shop but we did, as nurseshark mentioned, get to do wreck diving in the flooded parking lot. WreckWench's wreck reel really worked well! (say that 3 times fast!)

Our dive boat rules! They even put up with our 'sunshine' songs on Saturday. The personal serivce, the fun, the overall feel of the crew is one you should experience yourself. They truly are a great team :cool2:

and I can't say enough about our hosts, Billy and Barbara. I walked back to the hotel from the boat on Sunday and was totally soaked from head to toe. My wet clothes would have added at least 10 pounds to my luggage! But, I asked Barbara if we could dry our stuff using their dryer. She told me to just give her a pile of wet stuff and she'd take care of it, so I passed the word. She not only dried our clothes, but she washed them as well! Then she folded everything and delivered them back to us too! That is something you'd never see anywhere else - the family touch! That is why I'll be back in NC, staying at Fisherman's Inn and diving with Capt Jim and the gang. They are the type people you don't run into often enough in this world :D

The crew on this trip was simply amazing. Being a boat capt I know the tremendous amount of work required BEHIND THE SCENES to keep a boat running in top shape and an operation like this one sailing smoothly so that customers have a great time! This crew started well earlier than our stated 6:15am on the boat and worked far longer after our return to ensure that all systems were go. And when they had a bit of difficulty keeping one of the electrical systems functioning properly, they called in backup support and so were late to the BBQ. But most of them joined us late however the SD crowd was still in full swing so the party just got better upon their arrival.

I would dive with this crew again and my special thnks to the Captains for finding a way to get the needed 'juice' for the trip surprise.

I think most if not all of the credit for figuring out and fixing the boat's electrical issues goes to DM Will and Capt. Al. I can't take any credit for that one! We appreciate the recognition though!

Was wondering if orcaman (Larry) could give me the name of the dive op he recommended on the Florida east coast. Too many things on my mind this weekend to retain that one!

Who is ncwreckdiver? Possibly Jim and Sandy? If so, I think we discussed Capt. Craig of the Starfish Enterprise out of Lantana, FL. Phone number is 561-212-2954, web site is idivestarfish.com.

Well,

once someone correctly guesses the answer in the format I expect, then a winner will be announced

you need to put your answer as follows:

"my final answer is:........." - no guessing!

then Sea Urchin and I can determine who wins, though I admit we haven't figured out what the prize is yet :cheerleader:

My final answer is Kamala and Bill aka Wreckwench and OTWdiver.

Actually I hate to spoil the fun but the winner will be the first person to correctly guess regardless of format. It is only fair.

Now we are waiting for a few more clues from some of the other divers on the trip...
