As for last night...we had a blast! Fingrabber picked up Alikat at her hotel in downtown Dallas and brought her to the HH. I joined them shortly thereafter and we saw this very nice attractive man standing near the door as if he were looking for someone...note to self...invite him to join us even if he is not a diver...as we started to figure out where we were supposed to be he figured we must be the divers from the noise and my avatar and we discovered that Frankdr had joined us! Shortly thereafter Scubahoney and Domino1111 made it and then before the first drink arrived the place was filling up...Sophia, No Pressure, Neoaquatica, Matt5, JAMessenger, and a new gentleman who found us from the Dallas Morning News Singles Section ad we submitted....Richard!
Almost everyone except for Frank and Richard knew one another from the board or from Athens or from a previous diving trip...but by the end of the evening our two newest members were chiming in on the wild and crazy conversations that seem to arise when divers get together and by the time they left...they felt confident that they would venture out with us in person as well.
In fact I heard Frank say something about Sept Athens event and Richard quizzed me on the calendar and starting planning for the January Cozy trip!
We had a ball...but I'll allow others to fill in the gaps....TONS of pictures were taken and as soon as we make sure everyone is ok with having them posted we'll get them up in the trip report!
Oh...we did design the next SD t-shirt!!! It will have the SD logo on the front and the back it will say:
It will be LONG...
It will be HARD...
There will be no WITHDRAWEL

So until the next Happy Hour....signing off...Kamala aka Wreck Wench

How could a bunch of Angels make a man blush?
But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--"WOW--What a ride!"

Finngrabber, You are so wrong, not to be confussed with "Ya ain't right", I never tried to hide that fact that I did enjoy it. It's OK if you ladies want to try to make me blush, just remember, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Next time it's my turn to make ya'll blush.
That's also a big "YA'LL" for Alikat, who by the way had the best venue to really try to make me blush, but was either not bold enough, or did not have enought to drink. Sweety I did never answer your question, so, I only under estimate my age by 8 years.
I had a great time, if this was just a preview of Athens, we're all in deep water.
Ciao James

yes, you enjoyed it . . . (at least I enjoyed it) Nobody was keeping you there, expect maybe WW who had you cornered on the remote bet (note - Don't start an agrument with WW - by the time she was done I wasn't sure what she was talking about - but I'm sure she was right )
And, people who live in glass houses shouldn't invite over he is without sin . . .
All,
So now I've got faces to go with names. I better write down my notes from last night. This is good stuff. i can use this . . . .
Later -

James, you did manage to make me blush once! But, I think you were laughing so hard, you just didn't notice!Finngrabber, You are so wrong, not to be confussed with "Ya ain't right", I never tried to hide that fact that I did enjoy it. Oh, and I ain't right!! But that really doesn't need to be debated; everyone seems to know it about an hour after I meet them
