I've seen several people talk about Dutch Springs and that got me to thinking about a Happy Hour there on a Saturday later this spring. Let me know what you think.

Great idea, Jerry! If you guys can plan it far enough in advance and get the details to me, then I can send an email blast out to members in the Dutch area. Just let me know if I can help!

That was sort of my plan, with a cookout, covered dish kind of thing. :wakawaka:

Jerry - I could definitely be convinced to come up to the area for a weekend with enough notice to buy an airline ticket.

Wish I could be there, to see my 'Spawn' dive naked or in a 3mm for that matter.

Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I'm sure I can be there (depends upon the date). I plan to be there this weekend, Saturday the 2nd.

Depending on the time, the water temp, and the gear I own, I'd love to have a dutch springs dive. Keep in mind i'm currently open water only, so as much as I'd love to go deep and accrue some deco obligation, I'll have to keep it tame. I will, however, bring good beer if there's any extra at my place. Actually, thats a great idea. I've 2 aluminum 80's, i'll trade beer for borrowing a 3rd from someone. Or a HC steel.

No worries on the open water cert. the water is less then 100 feet deep and mostly in the 60 foot range. I have an al80 and a pair of hp steel 120's I don't normally dive so they are available. If you come down I can hook you up with a dive shop and work on your AOW cert if you want. I'll have to look at my log book but I don't think I have even gone into deco at Dutch. I practice deco hangs, throwning bags, and managing sling bottles but just to keep the skills sharp.
