If that goes well I will become a distributor for them. I will keep you posted.
The brand I tried was by Thermulation but I will try others if this one does not pan out.

Thank you for the heads up... Will have to see what they did to my tickets as well.
Susan: Still negotiating with the company on the heated vests. It seems a wire broke so now I will see how they do on returns. That will cement the deal one way or the other.
I am curious about these heated vests. Exactly how do they work? Of course, that seems like it would have an obvious answer, but I'm curious about electrically heated stuff under water, what kind of gear do we wear them with, etc. Any links were we can see the product and get some info ahead of time?

Last fall I discovered a heated vest and used it on several trips. I LOVED it and it REALLY kept me warm and toasty and the battery lasted about 3 hrs. In Bonaire it did not seem to heat up like it had been doing thus far to date. So now I'm working to return it and see how the company handles returns.
If that goes well I will become a distributor for them. I will keep you posted.

I had heard about this, and the one I found seems to be marketed to surfers and had a max depth rating of 30 feet. Let us know if you find another option that would work at least for rec limits. It looks like the one on the Thermulation web site is supposedly rated to 250 feet, but only comes in sizes too small for me.

I heard of a sure fire way for female divers to get warm after a dive. It is the RAOUL line from Puerto Rico. No batteries required, wash and wear and works on any dive resort anywhere.

Right, right......um.....I didn't see any of those on the Flower Gardens trip I just took.....public/style_emoticons/default/angel.gif
I'm looking for DURING dive warmth, although if this option could be guaranteed after diving, it might be a decent alternative.

They were originally intended for the Asian market so they only offer small sizes at this time. If the product is hardened enough I'm sure they will start to make larger sizes. She did say she could custom make a few vests if needed. So that may be an option.
Initially you had to return the product to China. Now they have a US depot so that is a step in the right direction.
I want more than anything for this to pan out. But the vest is expensive (worth it to me) but still expensive so if it fails easily or if they do not have good return processes in place then its too early to become a dealer. I will wait til they harden the product more. I will keep you posted on my findings and progress. Will try to send to US Depot this week now I am home for more than 2 days turn around. Kamala
