it seems that all the best stuff happens on the Sunday morning dives, so you should plan to be at the next event until at least 12n!!

Well sistuh...you may have gone to your tent early...but we kept the critters out for you! (Er...I mean we screened them and none passed inspection...er I mean...yep...you need to stay up later! LOL!!!)

That's for sure...and then we start laughing and drinking and the party don't end until 5 or so! Gotta get one of the those cat nap things into the equation...maybe a group nap...yeah that's the ticket! -ww

This weekend was the tonic I needed. What a great group of people.

I would like to thank the Devine Miss K for all the work she has done and the joy she displays while doing it.

And thanks to Sonny for cancelling his plans for Sunday evening and traveling a long way off his path to deliver me to my deathly ill friend. (That was a very long trip back to DFW)

Since I'm on the thanking train... Thanks to Calvin at Athens Scuba Park. It is not often that you see generosity like that. I know I'm going to remember Chris' birthday for a very long time and I suspect that Chris' memory will be a little longer. Calvin and Sharron were excellent hosts. He's letting me park a vehicle there until I can retrieve it.

Even with the extended route through Houston, I'm very happy I braved the resurrection of Ivan to meet some of the most interesting people. BTW, Ivan was very blue and pleasant. If our tents got wet, it weren't 'cause o' rain.

I'll be on as many outings and events as money and time allows.

Only one thing puzzles me... why didn't the young man turn around? why???

I promise I did not eat the potato salad! RUF RUF!

No, I didn't take any photos of the hot tub. That just seems verboten somehow. I did have my underwater housing with me, but I did not use it. I had trouble taking reasonable photos in Belize, so I figured I had no chance in the lake. Besides the things they've sunk, there really isn't anything to see. I remember Saturday afternoon being genuinely excited to see a leaf, then I id.'ed it as an Oak. I do have all the photos loaded in snapfish. I'll see if I can email them to you.

We actually missed the best shots. A photo or video of our fearless leader getting into her new drysuit for the very first time and giving herself a wedgie would have been nice. We might have been able to sell the video.
