Come on out and join your hosts Kate aka Icarusgirl, Jose aka Jesterdiver and Suzy aka Dividivadiver for pleasant evening full of dive discussions and general camaraderie. This time we are trying something a little different. Eros Cafe is a BYOB establishment with a relaxed atmosphere, authentic Greek cuisine and lots of atmosphere. It is conveniently located for our New York City and North Jersey members who may feel a little neglected from SingleDivers.com Happy Hours in other parts of the country. Here is your chance to turn out and talk with members fresh from some of Kamala's recent trips, ready to offer first hand perspective on the diving and amenities to be had. We hope those who attend will also share their dive experiences and suggestions on what they might like to see on Kamala's future trips radar.

Since Eros Cafe is designed and managed as a cozy relaxed venue, we will need to limit participation to the first 15 who post a "Plan to Attend Reply" here in the topic thread. Just below is a link to the Eros Cafe website which is as tastefully done as the business it represents and will offer an idea of what to expect. After this long and exceptionally chilly winter we expect a lot of people will have diving and tropical destinations on their minds, so do not dally, Reply below and post your RSVP ASAP!

This looks great! Only 1 typo thingy. It's Eros Cafe but you put Cafe Eros in the Title above the address. But it's correct all the rest of the way through! Thanks for the blurb. Now we just need peeps to come out - which means we need to go four whole days with NO SNOW!! Ugh. I am "jones-ing" for the Maldives...Hope Kate and Jose can check in and ok so you can pull the trigger in the a.m.
Oh - ALSO - Suzi DeLucia aka Coral Reefer lives in NY but works in Jersey - will she be on the list or is it automated to just take residence addresses? Sorry for all the q's but Suzi actually knows the manager of the joint. AND I'm hoping she can come out and play (cuz she's just a lot of fun!)

I was going to post "Plan to attend" when i thought is was Saturday. The 21st being Friday however would make me dependent on workload/week weather I would be able to make it to north jersey. Can I post "hope to attend" and come if there is space to spare?

Yes Max we can put you on a Maybe list, and if we fill the Going list to the limit that will simply move the Maybes onto a Waiting List (first signed, first offered if a vacancy appears). Hope you will be able to join us!

A Manhattanite scared of little old jersey?! Lol, I completely understand the weather lately has been crazy, maybe if we get an all clear from the ever accurate tv weather reports and you end up being free, you might join us. Suzi aka DiviDivaDiver, commutes in to nj from the city everyday and could maybe advise on the best way to come in.

Either way I think we'll be holding more of these in the near future, (BTS around the corner!!) I'm tired of the Arizona contingency having all the fun LOL! Maybe next time we can pick a spot on the river so its easy for both the NY and NJ divers to get to.

I've had enough jobs in NJ (reverse commute) to know when to avoid something that has PUH-LENTY of unpleasant associations from the past......BTS around the corner! Now THAT'S a good thing! We'll meet there if not before!
