I'm sure Kim and I could arrange a private 'shopping' trip for ya!

I am totally there! Your wisdom would be truly appreciated.

Sounds like a plan to me!!

But, you know I'd have to bring my sidekick, WW, along too

Things you can only say on Thanksgiving....

1. Talk about a huge breast.

2. Tying the legs together keeps the inside moist.

3. It's Cool Whip time!

4. If I don't undo my pants, I'll burst!

5. Whew, that's one terrific spread!

6. I'm in the mood for a little dark meat.

7. Are you ready for seconds yet?

8. It's a little dry, do you still want to eat it?

9. Just wait your turn, you'll get some!

10. Don't play with your meat.

11. Just spread the legs open and stuff it in.

12. Do you think you'll be able to handle all these people at once?

13. I didn't expect everyone to come at once!

14. You still have a little bit on your chin.

15. How long will it take after you stick it in? .

16. You'll know it's ready when it pops up.

17. Wow, I didn't think I could handle all of that!

18. That's the biggest one I've ever seen!

19. How long do I beat it before it's ready?

Better be prepared with lots of credit cards. And of course better save some to buy them a present after all the work they will do spending it. :-D

And on a perfectly unrelated side note (other than I noticed a few statements alluding to their talent here), I would like to mention that if fingrabber or ioconsult have any decorating tips for a single male who DOESN'T want his home to look like a bachelor lives in it, please feel free to speak up... any advice is always welcome! I got nothin' but :-D for you talented ladies!

Best tip I can provide to a bachelor decorating his home - beer cans are not art and most certainly do not double as knick knacks, candle holders or the like! :P Good luck on the shopping trip with the ladies!! Are you sure you know what you have signed up for (not speaking of the individuals in question so much as home decorating shopping with women in general)? :cool2: :lmao:

'TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING

'Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn't sleep.

I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.

The leftovers beckoned - the dark meat and white,

But I fought the temptation with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation,

The thought of a snack became infatuation.

So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door

And gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.

I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,

Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.

I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,

'Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky,

With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.

But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees....

"Happy eating to all, pass the cranberries, please."

May your stuffing be tasty, your turkey be plump.

Your potatoes 'n gravy have nary a lump.

May your yams be delicious, your pies take the prize.

May your Thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs!
To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.

The Parrot and the Turkey

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by

consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in desperation, threw up his hands, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer.

For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet.

Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer.

The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in this behavior, the bird continued, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

> HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!

Well after a long night in the hospital, I welcomed my brand new baby neice into the world this morning! So now that my Auntie work is over, I'm headed up to Mt. Hood to spend a couple days in a cabin eating, drinking, and possible snow games.... :welcome:

and have a whole pig roasting right now, should be ready by this afternoon.
OK, lets make a deal. If you stop telling me how to dive, I'll stop going down to the bus station at 2am to slap d***s out of your mouth.

I HAD great plans for thanksgiving. Untill, on thanksgiving eve(is there such a thing) around noon. I got the phone call that one of my customers compressor had high oil pressure. So I droped down there took a quick listen and had to cancle my reservations for Palau!!!! I spen all afternoon yesterday and all day today doing a complete overhaul and tommorow when the machine shops open back up I can get a cyl honed and put it back together. So my turkey day was spent turning wrenches and skinning my knuckles while my friends were diveing and having turkey in Palau. My only consolation is I will be going there next week for buisness anyway.

Hope all your thanksgivings are better.

Cheers Jim

I'm spending this morning packing my dive gear to get ready for my 5th trip to Roatan. I always get a list from my ex-patriot friends down of things to bring. Availability of simple things for them is tough. I've got paperbacks, lighter fluid and neosporin packed for them.

This afternoon my SO and I are going to a friends for Thanksgiving dinner. Hopefully I sit around and drink wine watching the Cowboys get wupped before dinner.
