2017 Best of Florida and/or Keys Krawl.... HELP US PLAN!!

Hey gang we will most likely have several international trips that have a Fl connection, gateway or jumping off point. For several years we have been offering a Best of Florida trip consisting of Boynton/Delray Beach (for amazing reef diving and marine life) + Jupiter (for amazing SHARKS...lemons, reef, hammerheads, and giant goliath groupers) + BHB (Blue Heron Bridge) the week BEFORE one of our international trips that are easily accessed from Florida.

Possible 2017 trips we are looking at where the main connection is either Florida or can be Florida include:

• Roatan
• Tobago
• Cuba
• Cayman Brac

We can do our traditional Best of Florida trip AND/OR possibly introduce a new Keys Krawl culminating in Key West for the Cuba trip

or

We can do our traditional Best of Florida and end up in Key West as follows:

Sat - Delray

Sun- Delray

Mon- Dellay

Tues- Jupiter

Wed - Jupiter

Thurs- Jupiter

Fri- Drive to the Keys and board at 8pm

or

Sat - Delray

Sun- Delray

Mon- Delray

Tues- Jupiter

Wed - Jupiter

Thurs- Drive to Keys and stay in Key West or outside of key west

Fri- Sight see Key West or dive one day then board the boat

Any preferences? One Best of Florida and maybe a short Keys Krawl OR possible 3 day Dry Tortugas trip (would have to be M-Wed as the boat currently needs Thurs & Friday to flip the boat to get it ready for the next charter which in our case would be the Cuba trip.

I am looking at that BUT the boat says they need 2 days to turn it for the next trip. So that means we would have to do it M, Tu, Wed and then local land based diving Thurs and Friday to make this work.

Do people want to do 4 extra days before the Cuba trip since you have to be there on Friday anyway?

Maybe the local 3 - 4 days of Key West land-based diving might be easier to arrange before the Cuba trip.

The Dry Tortugas is a great idea but it is the same operator so they have to flip the boat to clean up from one trip aka Dry T's and get ready for a 2nd trip aka Cuba. I have asked if they can do this in one day and they are looking at it but right now it takes them 2 days to flip the boat.

I've dove Key West and it's not as good as other parts of the Keys.  If we're not going to do Delray/Jupiter I'd suggest the Plantation Key/Tavernier area.

Most of this discussion was related to having our Cuba trip leaving from Key West. Now that the boat has been sold we are back to our regular BEST OF FLORIDA trip that focuses on truly the best diving... Boynton to Jupiter! 

After having just dove with Pura Vida Divers I am pretty sure we will add them into the mix...so its looking like 2 days with each Pura Vida,, Starfish Enterprise and Emerald Charters for the sharks! I will do an add'l optional day of diving if possible with the sharks so we can get 3 days if the calendar will work.
