Post CV19 International Travel Updates from SouthWest Airlines

This morning's mail brought numerous cancellations for SWA Southwest Airlines to its international destinations. Sadly for consumers they have cancelled all international flights until effectively Oct 31st (with several exceptions below). With 2 free bags (worth approx $60 each way) and lower fares in general, this hurts consumers using this carrier to Caribbean destinations.

• Cancun, Cabo, Jamaica, Havana: Resume flights July 1, 2020
• Puerto Vallarte:  Resume flights Oct 8, 2020
• All other destinations: Resume flights Nov 1, 2020

I haven't flown SW in a long time (because I'm in an Alaska/DL market), but this is quite the blow to travelers.

Yes I had 3 trips cancelled this summer alone.

Now have to rebook and prices are conveniently a lot higher!
