GOING TO CAIRO :
Egypt is open for travel and tourism and has been for awhile. Covid policies and practices evolve as time goes on so monitor this topic periodically so you know the latest updates. (We will periodically send them via the TRIP PM so make sure you are getting them as they are your lifeline for trip information.)
Updated as of Jun 22, 2022:
- Travel documents such as the Egypt Declaration Form are no longer needed,
- Basically all COVID-19 requirements for Egypt entry and special restrictions and rules for tourists have been lifted, all that visitors need now is to obtain an Egypt Visa. (SINGLEDIVERS.COM WILL BE DOING THIS FOR YOU CLOSER TO THE TRIP)
- No vax card is needed.
- No proof of vaccination is need.
- No negative test is needed.

RETURNING TO THE US OR HOME:
As of Jun 2022:
- No testing is required to return to the US.
Return to Home Country: A doctor from a certified lab will come aboard the boat to perform PCR or Antigen tests for guests returning home. Done on Wednesday (last day before disembarkation) and results are received on same day. Cost for an Antigen test is around $85 per test, and around $130 for a PCR test. In-hotel PCR testing is available for around $150 for those guests with optional land tours after their time aboard.
