Hey gang...we REALLY need your pictures from our SD events and trips! Pls email them to marketing@singledivers.com for use in our online presence! We'll give full credit to all submitters but really need pictures of the SD Experience as well as short video clips!
Hey gang! We have a new gal Mercy helping us with marketing! YEA!!!! And we have a new special email for marketing which is as you would guess... marketing@singledivers.com.
Mercy is a facebook, twitter and utube guru and will get the SD accounts off the ground or even launched. The idea will be to enter content under SingleDivers.com or SingleDiverscom as the user name. (Several of you including Craig aka TexasDiver and Stan aka ScubaSki already post content on utube and reference SingleDivers.com in the title and description of your video clips!)
This will be to take this one step farther and we hope that EVERYONE not only continues to reference SingleDivers.com in their personal clips but also contribute to the clips and pictures to be loaded by SingleDivers.com.
Here is how we are going to do it.
1. Send up to your 5 best pictures or up to 5 of your best video clips (up to about 2-3 mins max if content is really awesome) by category i.e.
a. Land Shots of SD members
b. Land Shots of any Tours you were on
c. Underwater shots of SD members
d. Underwater shots of scenery
e. Underwater shots of critters
2. Email them to marketing@singledivers.com with your REAL NAME and SCREEN NAME on your submissions AND the category you are entering the shot(s) under.
3. We will choose the content our marketing guru wants to post on the various sites we are building a presence on UNDER the SingleDivers.com name but with photo/video credit given to the artist!
4. All submissions will result in 1 chance to win a
prize in a quarterly drawing including but not limited to SD merchandise, dive gear and YES FREE TRAVEL. 
5. Please do not submit pics or videos just for the sake of being entered into the contest. However we do want as much content as we can get and professionals will not have an edge over amateurs. NO CONTESTS ARE BEING HELD AT THIS TIME so everyone can be a winner. (We do plan to offer contests in the future but this particular project is FOR EVERY TRIP AND EVENT and does not include a contest to judge one picture over another.)
6. We REALLY appreciate your help to make our club even better via YOUR CONTENT CAUGHT ON FILM/DIGITAL MEDIA and we REALLY appreciate your efforts to help us build our name via various online social networking mediums.
So submit your content today and be a winner!!! (Well you'll ALWAYS be a WINNER TO US!!! And you may even be a winner to others as well.)
Example:
Susie Diver went on the Red Sea trip. She took LOTS of pics and wants to help SD out and maybe win a great prize. She enters pics and video as follows:
a. Land Shots of SD members - (5 pics and 2 video clips)
b. Land Shots of any Tours you were on - (5 pics and 5 video clips)
c. Underwater shots of SD members - (4 pics and 1 video clips)
d. Underwater shots of scenery - (3 pics and 4 video clips)
e. Underwater shots of critters - (5 pics and 5 video clips)
Total content = 22 pics and 17 video clips = 39 submissions in the quarterly contest PLUS 39 chances to help out SingleDivers.com and up to 39 chances of being showcased on SingleDivers.com too!
