Grenada also known as the Spice Islands has some fabulous pristine diving with extremely rich coral and reef life. The diving industry is still very young in Grenada so it’s very possible to dive on a reef that has rarely and perhaps never been dove on! However Grenada has a very well developed infrastructure of roads, University, restaurants and things to do as it is the Spice Capital of the world. And what wonderful spices they are!
Grenada is also known for a very special wreck known as the Bianca "C" also referred to as the Titanic of the Caribbean. She sank Oct 22, 1961 and her deck lies in 130 ft of water with relief starting at 95 feet. After diving this beautiful wreck you can do a drift dive for your safety stop over more of Grenada's pristine reefs!
Grenada is mostly known for her beautiful reef diving however after this article is released...I think it will be added to the premier wreck diving destinations in the world. SD will be running a trip there for Labor Day Sept 3-10 so plan to join us for a very special dive trip you'll never forget!
