Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tour For Singledivers.com Members
Here at Singledivers.com, we have been offered, by sudsymark, a rare opportunity to take a guided tour behind the scenes at the Moody Gardens Aquarium. Sudsy is a volunteer at the Moody Gardens Aquarium, and we are fortunate to have her among us. Included as part of the tour we will receive information on the volunteer program for maintaining the Aquarium, and feeding the fish. Along with the tour, we will receive an all day pass to the Aquarium and the option of purchasing other attractions such as the Imax theatre (Now Playing Sharks 3D), or the Rainforest. There are only 20 spots available, so please let us know as soon as possible, if you are interested. Moody Gardens is requesting payment up front, so information will follow on how to send in your payment.
If anyone has any questions regarding this event, or the volunteer program at Moody Gardens, please direct them to sudsymark in this thread, or send her a PM and I'm sure she will be happy to answer them.
Since we will be on the Island on a Saturday, it will be only fitting to have a Singledivers Happy Hour after the activities at Moody Gardens. Details will be forthcoming in a separate thread regarding the Happy Hour.

I could be arriving at Ellington Field returning from the sandbox on the 17th. If a post tour get together is in work let me know, I need something to get the sand out of my shorts....

We will definitely have a post tour Happy Hour. It would be great if you could join us. If you don't come in on the 17th, let us know when you do come in and we will have another Happy Hour to welcome you home!

The Moody Gardens thing sounds great, but I think I'd rather see you guys come in to Ellington, and see the 16's land! Any chance you'll have an ETA and I could come by and welcome you guys home? (and get some video/photos)? Only other thing that could interfere is DIVING... but everyone should understand that!WOW! That would be fantastic, there will be about 350 of us arriving on or about that date. Also the 12 F-16s we have been flying over in the sandbox. Would be great to finally meet some of the way cool folks I see only on the site. Here is a quick pic of me in the jet heading out on a mission. Yea, I know all you see is the jet...lol
ITB...
Oh... B.T.W., you look mah-va-luss in the 16!!!
Actually, the WORST day of diving is better than the BEST day at work...

As we get closer to the departure date from Iraq I'll be able to post the tentative arrival date into Ellington. Will keep all advised.
Cheers,
