I was watching Fox News, and they had their doctor on. Dr. Isadora Rosen-something. The interviewer had a nasty sting/rash on her arm. They talked about it and the doctor told her what to do next time, then he mentioned a preventative. You put this stuff on you, and while they still bite -or whatever - but they won't leave marks on your body and it won't itch.

I put some of that in my daugthers kit when she was living in WPB but she never got to try it because like her brother they only dive when dad is paying!
I understand that suntan oil will help too but most dive boats don't want you putting it on on the boat, the oil makes the deck slippery. Suntan Lotions are okay but I don't know if they protect from jellies. :teeth:

Sophia,

Thanks for sharing this. I definitely would try it. Last April, in Barbados, a jelly fish left me a little souvenir. I was diving in full wet suit, booties and gloves, but the little critter found it's way to my cheek. I am not very allergic but it still burned the rest of the day.

Anyway, thanks for the info.
