I paid my membership nearly a week ago and it Still is not confirmed. I want to pay my down payment for an Atocha trip ASAP.

Hi diveprn, did you pay using the gateway? If you sent a check then there is a big delay as it takes quite a while to be processed (and not recommended as a way to pay), if you used the gateway (THE way to pay) then it still takes the system a little bit to process and our volunteers (that's everybody here) to make the changes needed to get you status changed to premier. Someone will check back with you soon.

She paid via the gateway! 
Now to see if she has a subscription in the system to activate with her payment.

Hey Valerie...I solved the mystery. Our accountant was on vacation last week so she did not see that your payment was not tied to a membership subscription until yesterday when she got back.
