Well, sign up for the Belize trip thread and you, too, could have a full mailbox. : )

Hi Kristi, sorry for the inconvenient email notices. Let's check your notification settings. In the top right corner when logged in, there is a down arrow next to your profile name that opens a profile options listbox. Select My Settings, and in the following window on the left side select Notification Options. You should find that our recent upgrade provides so many options there is plenty of opportunity for duplicate messaging. In the middle section there is a checkbox for "Watch every topic I reply to". If this is enabled (normally Off) that might be a part of your email flood problem. :o We recommend this setting be disabled.

Below that are checkboxes to tailor how your notices are presented. Personally I have unchecked all email notice options and use only online notice options. An Online notice appears when logged in over in the top right corner next to your profile name. It appears as a number of notices pending. A click on the number opens a list of notifications, and it resets itself once you have opened and viewed the new notices.

Please feel free to reply here if this does not solve your email flood issue. Oh yeah, and have fun in Belize! :D I was there last year and loved it!!

Hi Kamala,

It's probably my notification settings, which I am going to look at.

You and all the volunteers are awesome, it is amazing how cohesive and smooth the whole group seems to work. I know you guys work sooooo hard and, I think, you are making a whole lot of people happy. Thank you!

Hi Charlie,

I have followed your advice, and I'm pretty sure you're right, so we'll see what happens. Thank you so much for your very quick response. I unchecked the "Watch every topic" and some other choices below that. I'll keep you posted.
