Phones are really very very small computers these days. But unlike a computer I have no idea how to back up the pictures I've taken on it. -Yes I now have a small micro chip installed in it and even trying to save pics to it vs the internal memory of the phone...but I swear some of them are on the phone anyway...(anyway to transfer them to the micro chip?)
Also what kind of case do you use? Does it work or just impede your ability to use the phone? And what if you have a slide phone where a small keyboard slides out? How do you protect that?
How do you back up the data saved on your phone? Music? Pictures? and more?
Yes this is the DUMMIES GUIDE FOR PROTECTING YOUR PHONE AND ITS DATA primer we are developing here.
Thank you for the
Our phones are now Mini-Computers...but how do we TAKE CARE OF THEM?

I don't backup phone pictures to the tiny SD card, because frankly they're not good quality and I consider them "temporary" pictures.....taken just so I can upload them to Facebook or another forum reachable by my phone. If there is a particular pic that I want to keep, I just text or email it to myself and retrieve it from my PC, and save it there so it's included in my PC backup.

23-in-1 Card Reader for your PC / Mac
Slip your SDRAM card (or whatever format you like) into this and download the pics easily. They also have ones you can build into your PC tower for convenience.
Cheers.
