I've started tracking not only my calories, but also grams in protein, fat, and carbohydrates. In trying to lose weight (OK body fat) what % should eat of these be in your diet? No, I'm not interested in a low carb diet, just what makes sense. I didn't think I was getting enough protein, so I started tracking. Now I'm not sure what I should be doing with it.
In a recent fitness seminar I attended it was suggested to vary the amount of calories you have each day. As the body reprograms itself every 72 hours. So by eating the same amount of calories per week, but varying the number each day you can lose weight. In three weeks so far it seems to be working.
