I guess since I only have a standard membership thus far; it makes it almost impossible to contact anyone on the board. I have been searching for a method to get some travel info on a dive trip to Roatan. Without a premium membership, one cannot PM or e-mail or even see the personal info page to get an e-mail addy or whatever. I do not like to put this out in the public forum, but it appears that is the ONLY option left for me to try.

I am looking at a dive trip to Inn of the Last Resort and I was wondering if you could beat the pricing that I already have. I am considering either Sept. or Oct. for the trip. I would probably prefer to fly on Continental as they arrive earlier and depart later from Roatan. The pricing for the all inclusive is $645 d/o +16% tax and the airfare is $668.50.

I am still loking for a dive buddy/room mate for this trip as well.

Ya get what ya pay for (sometimes). Unfortunately, servers, support, connection fees, storage space, email, everything costs money. If Da Wench gave it away to everyone, she'd be broke in a hurry. Sorry, but she's got to do *something* to encourage folks to chip in to keep the boat afloat! You're right, though, it'll drive ya nuts.

I'll be down in the Caribbean on a long vacation around then. If you folks don't mind another diver, drop me a line (hint: try my screen name at singledivers.com, and don't forget the underscore) You can't see the underscore between the two words 'cos the darned system underlines all the names! The other Roatan trip is full, and both review of Inn of the Last Resort in the Undercurrents Chapbook look great!

BTW, even the Premium members can't e-mail here, just PMs (which work nearly as well). You can still exchange e-mail addresses through PMs and talk off-line, and it does a better job of protecting everyone's inbox from getting junk mail.
