Separating this from the PLANNING thread so that the planning for an ongoing Houston group can continue, while giving this impromptu gathering special attention.

What: A Houston send off for the Bonaire Buddies
When: THIS Saturday, June 12 4:00 p.m.
Where: Pappas Seafood, 11301 I-45 North Fwy, Houston, 77037
(Phone: 281- 999-9928)

Generally, the location is at I-45 and Airline Dr., but checkout www.mapquest.com for directions from your location.

I'll try to get there around 4:00 p.m. (however being on time is not one of my specialties) and scope out a place at the bar - maybe we could agree that whoever gets there first will tell the hostess with the mostess that we're a dive group meeting so that they can point anyone who asks in the general direction of where you're sitting (since many of us haven't met each other

I will be there although it will only be for about 30-45 minutes. I will be on my way to Kingwood to DJ a wedding reception up there and I will need to be there by 5:30.

The Pappas is located on the southbound feeder of I-45 between Aldine-Bender and West Road. If you are coming north on I-45, take the Aldine-Bender exit and make the U-turn. If you are coming south on I-45, you will need to take Aldine-Bender exit, proceed through the lights at the North Belt feeder and Aldine-Bender. Pappa's is located just south of Aldine-Bender next to Best Buy.

Well, unfortunately I couldn't make it. I was driving Miss Daisy, and Miss Daisy was driving me...CRAZY!!! I came real close to driving off a cliff had I found one, if I heard another word about her bridge partner. Mothers... God bless 'em
