Hi All

Just recently joined the gang (today) and thought I'd jump in here too. I've been in nursing for 26 years (yikes!) and an ER nurse for ten years.

Howdy all. New member here. :dazzler: I have been a Paramedic for 13 years and just recently graduated from nursing school...will be taking NCLEX-RN last part of June 2005. I am one of those married but buddyless divers, I had a friend that I used to dive with, but I introduced her to another diving friend of mine, and now they are dating...so I am always looking for other friends to dive with.

Hello,
I'm a travel nurse currently in Cocoa Beach. My home is Ft Myers, FL. I would love to be able to go diving and possibly get CEU's.
I've not been able to navigate around to contact anyone but I think it would be great to meet other single divers and if they were in the med field it would be excellent!

Hi Kathe;
I've started checking around with my contacts involved with the state nursing board here. We need to be sure that all those interested check the reciprocity with their state board. Some accept just about anything, and some are pretty picky. You being in AZ should not be a problem.

Are you a professional in Healthcare? Whether a Pharmacist, Dentist, Doctor, Paramedic, Nurse, CNA, Nutritionist or alternative care provider....if you also Dive or work with divers...we'd like to meet you.

We are trying to put together a "Diving Directory" of all of our Diving Healthcare Professionals...because we will be offering CEU & CME credit for ongoing education while on a diving trip. If you are interested or would just like to be a part of our HealthCare Diving Directory, please let us know below!

Thank you all!

Well, I get bored --- CNA, EMT, Holistic Health Practitioner/Massage Therapist and EFR/CPR instructor (-;

Check out the Catalina Chamber's EDAM Emergency Dive Accident Management course. I went 2 years ago and it was great. :)

Greetings Bill,:teeth: to SD!

So do you own a Drysuit or do you just dive warm? Met an interesting character from BC at a UHMS Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society meeting. He did a novell study on the incidence of diving accidents in BC. I think he was a former "Noofy", which would explian some of his "interesting" character. I am going in Apirl 22-30 to the Revillagigedos off of BAJA. 24 units of Diving Medicine CEU. :lmao: Fantastic Boat Nautalis Explorer, double occupancy state rooms. 4 dives a day. :banghead: Giant Mantas, Sharks, maybe even humbacks. :banghead: Currently buddy less. Spots still available.

Guess I'm in on this too. NREMT and Army Flight medic. Unfortunatly the Army doesn't really do much water rescue, so no combining the diving with the playing with 'copters. :tears:
I'm perfectly sane. I can't help it if the world is nuts!
