I-95 to Okeechobee Boulevard Exit 70 (previously Exit 52) and go east on Okeechobee Boulevard, approximately 1 mile. Or, take Florida’s Turnpike to West Palm Beach Exit 99 (Okeechobee Boulevard) and go east for approximately 7 miles. The Convention Center is on the right (south) side at the corner of Okeechobee Boulevard and Florida Avenue, opposite the CityPlace complex.

Is there a Happy Hour or other SD event going on here? The weather is starting to shape up for the weekend, and I am trying to decide just how much of this show I am going to attend. I might dive one of the two days, and it is getting to be time to make some decisions.

Do we have any kind of head count as to who it planning on attending, and which day? Please chime in if you are attending and please state when.

I am guessing it will be Saturday night. However, it would be nice to know in advance so that I can make some decisions about when (or even whether) I am going.

Did anybody end out attending this show? More specifically, how about the Tech Conference held at the show? Any reports?

I ended out diving on Saturday, and there was lackluster response about attending this show. So, I ended out deciding not to attend.

Actually we had a great turnout! Orcaman & OTWDiver flew directly from the Sea of Cortez to help with the show! We saw EricinOrlando, Walter, DiveCandy and lots of new and old Florida members from the show last year!

I've been writing a full report of the show on the airplane so will post it soon! The Happy Hour was Saturday just like last year...and it was great! We had a tremendous turnout as did the show. In fact we had such a great time that we'll be planning to help the show next year even more and will plan a dive trip around the show so that members from out of town can come to dive and see next year's event!

We'll get some ideas for next year going NOW! Its never too early to plan a great dive trip and dive show!
