Thank You Everyone!
For another great weekend at Lake Athens Scuba Park. We had great weather, and the vis cleared up nicely since last weekend. Water temp was between 78 and 79 degrees.

For those of us who arrived on Friday, (Bubski, Cajundiver, WTXBlaze, WTW, Mermaid Lady and myself) we spent the evening setting up camp, and hanging out by the camp fire (some till the wee hours of the morning!)

Saturday started out with the arrival of OTWDiver, WW, and Fingrabber and the Wench's Bitchen Breakfast Burritos! We did three dives Saturday, and then went out to eat at the Jalapeno Tree resturant, which was very good (especially since they served booze!), and then retired to the Hot tub, and ended the evening again visiting around the camp fire. Got one more dive in on Sunday and then packed up to head home. It was great diving with Capn Jack's daughter, and to finally meet the entire gene pool! It was also great to meet and dive with you Cajundiver, and I hope we see you back for the next event!

I felt a little bit guilty about divin for fun while the tech class was working SO hard, but only a little bit! :) Fingrabber, Capn Jack, and Scubatooth, I know how hard you worked, and I am very proud of you.
:welcome:

Sorry I missed this ...... it sounds like it was a real good time.

As always I had a wonderful time camping and SCUBA diving with the SingleDivers.com family. Calvin and Shannon have done a GREAT job with the Athens SCUBA Park, it's an awesome place to camp and dive, especially the tunnel system that ends up going threw the DART bus. Thanks to you ScubaPunk and Bubski for taking extra time with me and showing me the way - "I see the light, I see the light" - LOL. I look forward to more great times there with you all. Hope to see you all soon.
