:lmao:
Well SD members... we have been having a annual Athens Scuba Park Event each year sense SD was founded. I was thinking that May 4th-6th might be a good time to get together and dive, camp and bbq :P I'm sure Calvin will have some cool stuff to give-away in a treasure hunt. We can invite some of our newer members to join us..thats the way alot of us got started on SD by going to an Event or HH. I hope the regular members will be able to come and have meets and greets with the new divers...Plus alot of Fun as always.

Your Thoughts PLZ

Hey Bubski...it just so happens that OTWDiver will be in town to teach the first water portions of an a tech class on May 12-13th.

At least it looks like those will be the final dates. It would be cool to do our Dive of the Month while Bill is in town!

A few new rules posted at Athens Scuba Park with respect to the tech class --

1. No laughing at tech students will be tolerated.

2. Underwater photos of divers turning off both tanks during valve drills will be confiscated.

3. Snickering observations about hose length being a compensating mechanism will be met with violence.*

4. Small island rules rule.

5. Trespassers will be violated.

* While I carry a big knife to make up for my other shortcomings, it has its uses during these moments - if a vasectomy is in your future plans, you may win a free one. Scubatooth will supervise the open air surgeries, so sterile fields will be maintained.

Capn

man all i can say is that i hope i can get everything done so that i can make the lake days, but thats still in the air, and will be a last minute decision as i have to leave Dallas very early on the 14th at the very latest (like 0600 on 5/14 latest).

responses to the list above.

1.

2. really you have to find it first :wavey: .

3. uh yeah no kidding because that long hose is the right length for a noose to hang the offender.

4. only on the small island at athens the rest is far game for posting 24hours after happening.

5. just add on this " in more ways then you can think of and then add a few more!" .

* what sterile field the only sterile thing will be the gloves i wear to pour salt and cheap tequila in the wound, beyond that your on your own.

hehe :welcome:
