Just returned from a 3 day trip from Cozy today. While this was my first trip there and without an oppotunity to compare the conditions to pre-Wilma conditions. Many of the scuba mags say Cozumel is back. Yes, the infastructure [hotels, restaurants, etc.] are in place, but the damage to the reef I believe will take years to recover. Most of the coral heads are sanded over, and while there wasn't an absense of marine life, I'm certain it aws more abundant; pre-Wilma.
May I suggest you consider Roatan [where I dived this past January]? You may have to extend your trip to 7 days, since the airlines don't offer direct daily service. I think you would enjoy the quality of the diving better in Roatan.

Roatan is a great spot to dive and very reasonable. We have some great contracts with several resorts...you'd be happy with that too! AND SD can help you save money!

Would love to join you, but I have already booked a trip to Curacao for Memorial Day week. They are having a dive festival that week. I am going solo myself, so if you think you might want to try that instead I could use a buddy.
