By now, everyone knows that PADI has no shame when it comes to the plethora of training courses they have devised to generate income. So I say, why hold back. Here’s a couple of suggestions I have for specialty courses that actually might be worth something to some of us:

1) DEEP DEBT DIVING – The no-money-down method of financing PADI courses and equipment purchases.

2) FINDING TREASURE- Not just hunting brother; I want to get some. I’ll promise to spend 50% of the proceeds on future PADI course fees.

3) MERMAID DATING – When, where, pickup lines that work every time.

4) UNDERWATER NEGOTIATIONS – How to convince your buddy to sell you his house and car for ten bucks when he’s narced.

5) FISH MOODS – Learning to avoid the ones with PMS, and spot the one in the school with an attitude.

6) DOUBLE-BOND PAPER DIVER – For the person who needs a Senior, Master, Super, Intergalactic Diver Certification, but, never plans to put their toe in the water.

Got a few ideas of your own. Add them to the list?

Got a few ideas of your own. Add them to the list?

A) The Breathing In Course: 4 hours of class theory with 50 question multiple choice exam, followed by two supervised dives with emphasis on proper breathing in techniques. Recommended you follow this with the Breathing Out course.

B) PADI Web Site Navigation Course: Learn how to handle the stress of going to the PADI web site to find information. Involves meditation techniques and frustration management workshops to handle the slow bandwidth and limited information available.

C) PADI Bank Manager Negotiation Course: Get a few more dollars to spend on trips and gear with these tried and true methods. We cover the "My father is very sick and needs costly medication" technique, the "I need to add a new deck on my house because I am worried about my children's safety" technique along with the time tested dropping to your knees with clasped hands and saying pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese as pitifully as possible method.

:)
Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...! ;)

Tech Support - The hard we do right away; the impossible takes us a little longer...

"I like ponies on no-stop diving. They convert "ARGH!! I'M GOING TO DIE" into a mere annoyance." ~Nigel Hewitt
