Well my summer has been real busy and i have been having alot of fun and learning a lot which is keeping me out of trouble and lots of time underwater (nearly 48 hours in the past 6 weeks). This definately will be a experince i will never forget.

Any ways My My my what do we have here, i make a quick little 48 hour side trip and i come back with a tropical storm sitting off shore starting to make a mess of my planned 10 day diving/profile collecting run to help finish out my internship. How rude and inconsiderate

So it looks like i will be diving the next two days and then time to plan and have a hurricane party. So im going to be off to get some bottled water, canned food and Rum to wait out the storm

PR does get more than its share of storms.
I sat thru one a few years ago.
15" of rain one day....

It does muck up the diving. Rum does help to sooth the pain.

Okee dokee, I'd really be working on back-up plans! Call airline to discuss what-ifs, then trip ins company. Hope Dean runs out of steam, but I would not be getting on a plane to there for a few days, at least...!

I know this is important to you, but to fly into the path of a TS...??

Oh Ok, yeah if I was there, I would not be looking for an escape. (edit your profile guy). As it stands now, Miami is more likely to be hit and Cozumel.....

DD

My cellphone is set up to give me NHC alerts so im getting active updates on the progress. Plus there is a hurricane hunter that i saw fly in to the airport nearby to refuel so i know they are monitoring it.

my profile is fine as TX is home, im just on a working vacation down here in PR for DAN, and my board status reflects that, as im headed up in about two weeks.

Dan,

Being in the middle of a hurricane is actually kinda fun...it's very calm at the center. :dancing: Now, being on the edge of the eye is a total different story and the cleaning up afterward is a pain in the butt. Have fun surfing, you should get some awesome waves.

Take care of yourself,
Que :D
