Thursday evening, the night before he gets married to the Force of Nature known variously as WreckWench, The Commish and Kamala our very own Bill Routh aka OTWDiver is feted at his very own Happy Hour!!!! And, so will Kamala!!!!!

Yup, we will be having dual or duel happy hours for September! The guys are going to Hoffbrau Steaks - West End in Downtown; The shenanigans will begin at 7--7:30PM September 13th.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE ORIGINAL KEG VENUE IN IRVING REFERENCED IN PARTS OF THE FOLLOWING MESSAGES.

The girls will be having dinner at Aw Shucks on Greenville Ave in Dallas and then moving on to Dicks Last Resort in the DownTown area for more fun! One of the Dallas area's scuba instructors plays in the band there so we WILL have a great time! The girls evening will begin between 630pm and 7pm and end when we get done partying!!

A grand idea!!! I was thinking that it would be good if we had a Happy Hour on the night before the ceremony so that all the SD members who get into town get a chance to know each other before the wedding.

not having been in dallas for a couple of months and not knowing what the roads are like what type of traffic am i looking at being in transiting from one place to another. then what is the traffic going to be like getting there as i know there will be a fair number of out-of-towners who might not know there way around the DFW area. Then do we have a coordinated plan getting people with out wheels to the Keg?

Im just thinking out loud and trying to juggle All i have going right now on multiple fronts and this popped into my head as im sitting down to check my email one last time for the night.

From DFW airport, go North to the North side Exit. You should see a sign for Texas Hgwy 114, take that East about 8 miles or so. You will want to exit MacArthur Blvd. Take the off ramp and merge around a small curve up a hill to a traffic light. Turn left crossing over the top of 114 to another traffic light. Go about 200 feet and make a right turn into a shopping/dinning area (Red, Hot, and Blue BBQ is on your left). Continue East through the shopping area, the Keg Restaurant is on the left.

Given that our flight does not arrive until after 7, that we have to pick up a rental car and then check into our hotel, I don't think we will be there much before 8:30 or 9:00. That does help, im just trying to optimize my driving for all of this as I will have a lot of miles to cover for this gig. I have to plan it out as not working for over 3 months during my DAN internship has taken its toll on my finances. So not wasting a ton of money on gas is ideal as I need to make some money in the two weeks im home(if anyone is Dallas has any suggestions or offers let me know), before heading out again for the Philippines trip. I have alot riding (and responsibility) on this gig as its just a hair over two weeks in duration, and if i screw up you can bet that the WW and OTW will bury me somewhere oversea's.

plus then there are the out of towners to consider as some may not have car and that adds to the logistics of the event as the farther away from downtown the hard it will be for folks to make the events.

if anyone thinks I'm complaining I'm not, I'm just thinking out loud.
