I got certified with NAUI but can't find anything with them. Is there a buoyancy control course offered by another agency?
Thanks for any help,
Steve :thankyou:

There's the GUE Fundamentals course, but you will have to do it in DIR-compliant gear (backplate and wings, non-split fins, etc). It will definitely teach you something about buoyancy control though, plus quite a bit more.

I run a buoyancy workshop and a tek prep class for PDIC that is agency neutral after having been trained by GUE, IANTD, TDI, NSS-CDS and NACD absorbing what is useful from all and compiling it into an agency agnostic prep class... I also just won the regional Ultimate Diver Challenge buoyancy competition! :cool1:

But, if you want a nice instructor who will high five you when you do well, pir8 is great!

Thanks Trace, at least you weren't a judge in the competition.

I'd have to agree with Jim--take a DIR-F course.

But Trace is squared away also.
