I was diving in Key Largo last week. My first dive on Molasses reef, I was the first off the boat. I descended down right on top of a five foot nurse shark. It was neat, I backed up a few feet, we sat and looked at each other for a while, then she swam off. I turned to meet up with my buddy and was greeted by a swimming 6-7 ft moray eel. The rest of the dive was just as good, but the close up time with the shark was very cool.

Any body else wondering why the shark was female?

Keith
If at first you don't suceed.....don't try sky diving.
Women should always think beauty over brains since men can see much further than they can think. :)

Did you see if "it" had claspers or not?

I was hovering slighly above it didn't notice any claspers, but then again, never saw the underside or even much of the tailend for that matter, after settling to hover we were pretty much face to face. I really didn't mean to start a controversy... :wakawaka:

I didn't think it controversial.

As long as the sharks know the difference, that's all that matters. :cool1:
