Hello all,
I know it is short notice and this has not a thing to do with diving but I am cheerleading for my friends' roller derby team this Friday. :birthday:
So anyone who would like to watch me make a spectacle of myself, cheer on the lovely ladies of the Northern Nightmares derby team and get a drink afterward please stop by.

Haha! Don't worry, babe. I'm wearing gogo boots. No roller skates for Poki! (Not that my derby girl friends didn't try to talk me into it...) You all know I stick to the ice when it comes to skating!

Except for the ones with bits of metal jammed in their face, they should put out a Hot Women of Roller Derby calendar !

The most perplexing question about womens roller derby..... the question I have been asking for decades..... the real question that all men have about women's roller derby is....... the questions many of us are too afraid to ask.....

How is it scored? What does a team do to win? Is she single? Does she have a sister?

How is it scored? What does a team do to win? Is she single? Does she have a sister?

I know the only kind of scoring I'm concerned with in Womens Roller derby and it doesn't have anything to do with the score.
Never say Never! Its almost as long a time as always!

It's been a while since I've seen Roller Derby, but unless there have been some drastic changes, basically, the object is for one type of skater (called a "jammer") to lap the pack and they score a point for each person of the opposing team that they get by.
